Cesare Tronci visited the Simons Foundation last week (w/c 25 March) to attend an invitation only meeting on “Simons Collaboration on hidden symmetries and fusion energy annual meeting“. The primary purpose of this Simons Collaboration was to create and exploit an effective mathematical and computational framework for the design of stellarators with hidden symmetries. At the conference, which had only 8 talks, Cesare presented a poster on “A low-frequency variational model for energetic particle effects in the pressure-coupling scheme“. A link to the conference website is here.
