Dan Hill spoke this week (Tuesday 11 May) in the Leeds Applied Nonlinear Dynamics (LAND) seminar series. The talk is titled “Making mountains out of Magnets: Localised patterns on the surface of a ferrofluid“, and will be on the existence of localised radial and cellular patterns with an application to the ferrofluid experiment.
