Professor Vladimir Rubtsov, from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Angers, is visiting the Department this week (4-7 October), for research interaction in the areas of Monge-Ampère equations, contact and symplectic geometry. His hosts are Ian Roulstone and Martin Wolf. On Tuesday he is giving an FSG Seminar on “Quantization of Monodromy data for confluent PainlevĂ© systems, Calabi-Yau 3-algebras and degenerated non-commutative del Pezzo surfaces“.
