The Joint Theory Seminar, hosted by the University of Vienna and the Technical University Vienna, hosted a virtual talk by Masanori Hanada today (Tuesday 25 January). The title of the talk was “Entanglement between matrix degrees of freedom and QFT counterpart of entanglement island” In the talk, he discussed how entanglement in the gravity side can be described as the entanglement between matrix degrees of freedom, using an approach that differs from “target-space entanglement”. Full abstract can be found at the JTS webpage here. The image below shows one of the slides from Masanori’s talk.
