On Tuesday 26 April the first in the 2022-3 series of Applied Geometric Mechanics network meetings was held at the University of Exeter. A team (Paul Bergold, Tom Bridges, and Cesare Tronci) from Surrey travelled over to Exeter and attended in person. The theme of the meeting was “Geometric and Structure-Preserving Numerics“, and a link showing the list of talks with abstracts is here. The Applied Geometric Mechanics Network links AGM groups at Edinburgh, Exeter, Imperial, and Surrey. It is funded by the London Mathematical Society, and the leader is Hamid Alemi Ardakani (Exeter).
