Jessica Furber was in Edinburgh on Thursday and Friday (23-24 June) for the annual SIAM UKIE National Student Chapter Conference (link here). Jessica presented a poster on “Spending energy for a reward: understanding the fine movement of badgers“, and was awarded the runner-up prize in the Best Poster Competition. The prize was a copy of the book “50 Visions of Mathematics“. The photos below show Jessica discussing her poster (left) and receiving the prize (right).
