The 2022 SIAM Conference on Nonlinear Waves and Coherent Structures is being held this week (30 August – 2 September) at the University of Bremen in Germany as a hybrid conference (link here). Dave Lloyd is giving a talk on “Pattern Selection of Hexagon Fronts and Patches Inside and Out of the Snaking Region” in minisymposium MS13 (link here). He is also a co-author on a talk of Dan Hill (formerly PhD student at Surrey now a postdoc at Saarbrucken) on “Existence of Approximate Localised Dihedral Patterns near a Turing Bifurcation” in minisymposium MS36 (link here).
