Danielle Bielli is a PhD student on the joint degree between the University of Milano-Bicocca and the University of Surrey. On Monday 22 May, Daniele passed the PhD viva at both institutions. The title of his thesis was “Non-abelian T-duality in superspace“. The external thesis reviewers were Gabriele Tartaglino-Mazzucchelli (University of Queensland) and Pietro Grassi (Universita’ del Piemonte Orientale), and the Milano-Bicocca committee members were Jan Gutowski, Yolanda Lozano (University of Oviedo, Spain) and Alberto Zaffaroni (Milano-Bicocca). Daniele‘s supervisors were Martin Wolf and Silvia Penati (Milano-Bicocca). The image below shows a T-dual sigma model action from the thesis.
