The London Mathematical Society has awarded a Research in Pairs grant to Matt Turner. The grant funds a one-week visit to the Mathematics Department at Keele University to work with Jonathan Healey. Matt and Jonathan plan to work on a project involving absolute and convective instabilities of shear flows. The photo below shows part of the campus of Keele University.
