Matt Turner has been on a one week (10-14 June) research visit to work with Jonathan Healey, a Professor of Mathematics at Keele, on the absolute and convective instability properties of flows with spatial periodicity. The research trip was funded by a London Mathematical Society `Research in Pairs’ grant.
