Paper of Alemi Ardakani and Bridges on geometric numerics for sloshing published in Computers and Fluids

The paper “A Poisson-bracket scheme for nonlinear shallow-water sloshing in an oscillating tank with irregular bottom surface“, co-authored by Hamid Alemi Ardakani (University of Exeter) and Tom Bridges, has been published open access in the journal Computers and Fluids. The paper adapts the mass-, energy, and potential-enstrophy-conserving Poisson-bracket scheme introduced by Arakawa–Lamb (1981) to the problem of nonlinear shallow-water sloshing in an oscillating tank with irregular bottom surface.
