Werner Bauer visited the “Geophysical and Astrophysical Fluid Dynamics group“, in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, at the University of Exeter, on Wednesday 12th March, for research interaction and to give a seminar in the GAFD series. His host for the visit was Dr Jemma Shipton. The title of his talk was “Data-driven stochastic rotating shallow-water equations on the sphere, stabilized with scale-selective Casimir dissipation“.
