Cesare Tronci is in Denver, Colorado, (the “mile high city”) this week for the SIAM Conference on Applications of Dynamical Systems (DS25). He is co-organiser (with Denys Bondar of Tulane University) of a two part minisyposium on “Mixed Quantum-classical Dynamics in Molecular Systems“. (Link to part I, and link to part II.) In addition he gave a talk in part II on “Koopman wavefunctions in classical and mixed quantum-classical mechanics“, and was co-author on a talk by Paul Bergold (Gdansk, Poland) in part I on “Koopman trajectories in nonadiabatic quantum-classical dynamics“. Werner Bauer was a co-author on the latter talk as well. The photo below shows Cesare along with the speakers from the minisymposium. Denys Bondar is front right, next to Cesare, and Paul Bergold is on the right in the back row, next to Raymond Kapral (Toronto). Click on the image to enlarge.
