Congratulations to Giacomo Acciarini for passing his PhD viva! The viva took place on Thursday 3rd July. The title of Giacomo’s thesis is “Space Trajectory Design in Uncertain Environments”. The external examiner was Prof Jay McMahon (University of Colorado, Boulder), and the internal examiner was Werner Bauer. Gicomo’s supervisors were Nicola Baresi (Surrey Space Centre) and David Lloyd at Surrey, and Dario Izzo at the European Space Agency.
