On Wednesday 8th October a one-day meeting on Quantum Sciences Research was hosted by the School of Mathematics and Physics and organised by Andrea Rocco and Alessandro Torrielli. The idea was to get members of the Quantum Sciences Group to speak about their latest research, and to invite others in the School whose research contains a quantum component. Speakers on the day were Andrea Rocco, Priya Sharma, Martin Wolf, Jesús Rubio, Jim Al-Khalili, Dorje Brody, and Youngchan Kim. The PhD students were invited to present posters (which now hang in the corridor).
