Tom Bridges visited the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Exeter last week (20-24 October). His host for the visit was Hamid Alemi Ardakani (former PhD student and Postdoc at Surrey, now Senior Lecturer in Mathematics at Exeter) The visit involved research interaction and meeting with members of the department. On the Wednesday 22 October, Tom gave a talk in the GAFD Seminar series on “A theory for water wave breaking in three dimensions” (notice and abstract at GAFD Seminar page).
