The project “A new theory for wave breaking of three-dimensional internal gravity waves“, led by Matt Turner, has been funded by the EPSRC Small Grants Panel. The project starts early in 2026 and runs for one year. The award is for £96K and provides 50% staff time and travel money. The project aims to develop a new theory for the breaking of three-dimensional short-crested waves in finite depth fluids.
