Congratulations to Jacob Brooks who passed his PhD confirmation examination on Monday 18th December.  His confirmation report is titled “Existence of stationary fronts in a system of two coupled wave equations with spatial inhomogeneity”.  The examiners were Tom Bridges and Sergey Zelik.  The project co-supervisors are Gianne Derks and David Lloyd.
