Sergey Zelik is in Turkey this week (25-29 September) attending and speaking at the CHAOS conference with themes: homoclinic bifurcations, strange attractors, Arnold diffusion, Fermi acceleration, and solitons (link to website here). It is a celebration of the 60th birthday of Dmitry Turaev, and is being held in the Nesim Math Village in Izmir Turkey. Sergey gave a talk on spatial averaging of nonlinear PDEs on Thursday (28 Sept) afternoon. The image below shows Sergey during his talk.
