Dave Lloyd visited the School of Mathematics at the University of Manchester yesterday (Thursday 30 May) to give a talk in the Applied Mathematics Seminar. The title of his talk was “Snakes on the plane: Developing a Theory for Multidimensional Localised Patterns“. In the talk, Dave covered recent developments in the theory of Turing patterns, rings and hexagons and their connecting orbits (e.g. Nonlinearity paper here).
