Cesare Tronci has been awarded a grant of 148,600 Euros by the French government. It is a collaborative grant with the “Quantum dynamics of nano-objects” research group at the University of Strasbourg. To be precise, the grant was awarded by the Institut Thématique Interdisciplinaire “QMat” (link here).QMat is part of the ITI 2021-2028 program of the University of Strasbourg, CNRS and Inserm, supported by IdEx Unistra (ANR 10 IDEX 0002), and by SFRI STRAT’US project (ANR 20 SFRI 0012) and EUR QMAT ANR-17-EURE-0024 under the framework of the French Investments for the Future Program. The grant funds a PhD student for three years as well as travel for the supervisors between Surrey and Strasbourg. The grant begins as soon as the PhD student is appointed.
