Bin Cheng is in Bremen, Germany, this week (29 July to 2 August) for the Dynamics Days Europe Conference. He was an invited speaker in the Minisymposium on Geophysical and Fluid Modelling with PDEs, chaired by Marcel Oliver (KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt) and Emil Wiedemann (Erlangen). He gave a talk on “Near resonant approximation in Geophysical Fluid Dynamics“, based on joint work with Zisis Sakellaris (University College Cork).
