Polina Vytnova visits Lanzhou, Beijing, and Zhejiang in 3-week research tour of China

Polina Vytnova was in China for three weeks this autumn (29 August to 20 September) travelling across China to attend conferences and engage in research interaction. At Lanzhou she attended the summer school organised by Sergey Zelik (link here). She then travelled to Shanghai for Dynamics Days 2024 (link here). She then hopped on a bus for a 3-hour journey south to Jinhua to attend and speak at a conference on Analysis, held 10-13 September at Zhejiang Normal University, where she spoke on “Transfer operator methods“. The principal organiser of the conference was Sergey Zelik. He also gave a talk on “A sharp Poincare inequality for functions from W(1,infty)“. After that she travelled up to Beijing, visiting Zhiqiang Li at the Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research (BICMR) for research interaction.
