Anne Skeldon visited Oxford University last week (Thursday 29 January), and gave a talk in the OCIAM Seminar series.. The talk was on “Mathematical Modelling of sleep-wake regulation: light, clocks and digital twins”. The talk was a tour through the work that she has been doing with the Surrey Sleep Research Centre. Full abstract at the above link. The seminar organiser was ex-Surrey PhD student (now Hooke Fellow) Dan Hill. Anne also took the opportunity to catch-up with Tom Mullin. Tom has a laboratory in the basement of the Mathematical Institute. Anne also met with one of her collaborators funded by the Oxford Health BRC. The photo below shows the common room in the Mathematical Institute.
