Roulstone article on maths of weather prediction appears in Barometer

Ian Roulstone and John Norbury (Oxford) have an article in the July issue of “Barometer”.  Barometer is a magazine published and circulated by the Met Office and distributed free to decision-makers in government, science and commerce, for whom weather and climate information has an impact.  The article presents a summary from their book of how mathematics and meteorology come together to improve weather and climate prediction.  The article also includes an opportunity to win a copy of their book!   An electronic copy of the entire July issue of Barometer can be found here.
