Andrea Prinsloo visited the Mathematical Physics Group at the University of Cambridge on Tuesday 31 January.  She gave a talk in the MP Seminar series on “Integrable boundary scattering in AdS3/CFT2“.

Congratulations to Ying Huang who passed his PhD confirmation examination on Monday 30th January.  His confirmation report is titled “Coupled vessels motion and sloshing” and the figure to the left is from that report.  The examiners were Bin Cheng and Anne Skeldon.  Principal supervisor is Matt Turner and second supervisor is Tom Bridges.

David Lloyd and Ian Roulstone are at ICMS in Edinburgh this week (30 January to 2 February) at a workshop on “Mathematics for Measurement”.
