Ying Huang passes PhD confirmation examination

Congratulations to Ying Huang who passed his PhD confirmation examination on Monday 30th January.  His confirmation report is titled “Coupled vessels motion and sloshing” and the figure to the left is from that report.  The examiners were Bin Cheng and Anne Skeldon.  Principal supervisor is Matt Turner and second supervisor is Tom Bridges.


Cleator-Huang-Roulstone paper to appear in Global and Planetary Change

The paper “Reconstructing ice-age palaeoclimates: quantifying low-CO2 effects on plants” has been accepted for publication in the Elsevier journal “Global and Planetary Change“.
