Congratulations to Daniele Farotti for passing his PhD confirmation examination. It was held on Friday 12th February, and the examiners were Andrea Prinsloo and Martin Wolf. The title of Daniele’s project is “N=4 Supersymmetric Near-Horizon Geometries in D=11 Supergravity“. His project is supervised by Jan Gutowski, with second supervisor Alessandro Torrielli.
