Hello, I’m Amanda, a second year undergraduate Biological Science student and I am an International Student Ambassador.
Here are some facts about myself so you can get to know me a little better 🙂 I am from Singapore and I studied in Tanjong Katong Girls’ School. I then moved to Vienna to study music before coming back to Singapore (realising music is not for me😓). I then attended Bellerbys College in Cambridge before coming to University of Surrey. I enjoy reading and walking.
I look forward to sharing experiences I have at the university and any information about transitioning from Bellerbys to Surrey. If you have any questions about that, please feel free to email me or leave a comment! Nice to meet you~!🐻
See you in the next blog,
Amanda
I was really inspiring to hear your experience! I can’t wait to hear more from you.
Thank you :-)!
Interesting blog! As an undergraduate Biological Science student, are there any modules that you enjoy the most?
I think all my modules are interesting but I enjoy Neuroscience the most!
Looking forward to reading more of your experiences in Surrey.
Thank you!
Hi, I had a similar experience where I had to give up on music to pursue a more academic course, was this really hard for you and was it more of a spontaneous decision than planned to apply for a science course instead?
When I thought I wanted to do music I was only in secondary school. I realised that music was quite different from what I had expected and I was interested in Science instead. Therefore, I decided to study science in university 😀
Nice blog, hope to see you around 💓
Thank you!
