Student and graduate businesses at the University of Surrey can now access a cash pot thanks to Santander Universities to ease the burden the current climate has placed on start ups.
From additional resources such as PPE, to increased costs of moving services online, or lost income due to a lack of trading or delay in launching; start ups are facing a range of challenges now and in the coming months.
The University of Surrey Student Enterprise programme is proud to offer a range of support to our start ups enabled by a fantastic additional fund of £25,000 provided by Santander for this specific purpose.
Together we aim to ensure that all of our young companies continue to not only survive, but thrive, through this time.
Student & graduates are encouraged to submit a Powerpoint one-pager Company Factfile* via this link to be considered. Submissions close Thursday 4th June.
*Factfiles should include:
1. Company name 2. Your name 3. Your Surrey email 4. Course & year of graduation 5. Name of any other Founders (and whether they are Surrey students or not) 6. SHORT SUMMARY OF THE BUSINESS 7. What you will spend the £500 relief fund on if you receive it.
Please include any website links, logo and social media accounts you have for the business. If you are successful you will need to share a social media post about your award, tagging in Student Enterprise and #SantanderUniTogether, and agree to keep Student Enterprise updated on your progress.
