Cesare Tronci speaks at conference on dynamical systems and chemistry in Bristol

Cesare Tronci attended and gave a talk at the workshop on “Recent Developments and Possible Extensions to the World of the Exact Factorization and Bohmian Dynamics” that was held on Monday 22 April at the University of Bristol.  The conference was part of the EPSRC-funded network on Chemistry and Mathematics in Phase Space (CHAMPS). Cesare discussed a new mathematical formulation of “Exact Factorization” in terms of density matrices. In this new formulation, an analogue of the Bohmian trajectories arises as the Lagrangian paths of quantum complex-fluid parcels. A link to the workshop website is here.
