Hi everyone, hope you all have had a happy new year!
Just a short one this time because I just got back to uni this morning, my flight landed at 5am so I got back to my accommodation around 7am. First thing I did coming back to uni is not going to town for a nice lunch with my friends or trips to the library. Instead, I was cleaning my bathroom, my room, changing my duvet and went to tesco to stock up on food… typical student life. Nothing exciting here, apart from the exams I have coming next week which I’m not 100% ready for. But I am very happy to see my flatmates and friends again ’cause they are my family here. 🙂
It is hard to say goodbye to your family and friends back home but if you step out of your comfort zone, chances are you will discover something new, make new friends and gain unforgettable experiences. Studying in a new country is definitely not easy, from my personal experience it took me a good long while to get used to the place, the weather, the people and the culture. But it is worthy for sure, what you get are friends for a lifetime, memories you and your friends made together and experiences. That’s why I always encourage people who are still indecisive about going to university abroad to just take the chance and challenge yourself.
For anyone who has any questions about life at university or just studying or living in the UK, please feel free to leave a comment and I will try my best to answer your questions 😉
Bye for now!
