Hi everyone, today I would like to introduce you to the lovely String Orchestra. They are a student-led society that comes together and rehearse music of various genres. I play the violin and I joined them in September 2022.

In Semester 1, we performed the following during the concert:

• Karl Jenkins – Palladio
• Dvorák – Serenade for Strings
• Maroon 5 (arr. VSQ) – Girls Like You
• John Rutter – Suite for Strings
• M. Leontovych – Carol of the Bells

I have really enjoyed our weekly rehearsals as it provides an opportunity for all players to connect and share our love for music. Although we come from different courses and vary in skill level, the supportive rapport within the group has brought us together.
