One World Week at Surrey means celebrating cultures around the world! On the weekends, we had food stalls at rubix set up by societies and iGala, where cultural societies take part to showcase traditional dances!

It was really interesting to watch how students interpret the traditional and modern versions of these cultural dances.

Many thanks to these students who are going through heaps of coursework yet still manage to find the time for dance practices!

In addition to that, the student’s union also put up a little ‘buzzfeed’ reaction video, where students are invited to taste a certain food from a country and had to guess where the food is from!
