COVID safety measures still in place in the Library: What you need to know before you visit

Although Government restrictions have eased, you’ll notice we still have some COVID safety measures in place throughout the Library. If you are able, we would strongly encourage you to:

  • Wear a face covering when in the Library
  • Sanitise your hands regularly
  • Keep to a safe distance

Based on our current risk assessment, in order to keep the Library COVID secure, you must:

  • Keep all study spaces clean by wiping down desks, keyboards and mice before and after use using the wipes provided
  • Ensure optimal ventilation in all study spaces by keeping windows open
  • Observe maximum occupancy signage on all rooms and lifts

We want to make sure the Library is a safe place to study for everyone as we head towards winter, so please bear these measures in mind and be respectful of others as we navigate our way through the next few months.
