Aston, Hoyle, Skeldon, Turner speak at Systems Biology Showcase

PG-Biosciences_0 A showcase of Systems Biology research at the University of Surrey was held on Monday 23rd to Tuesday 24th February in the Duke of Kent building.  Philip Aston, Rebecca Hoyle, Anne Skeldon and Matt Turner spoke on behalf of mathematics.  Their talks were on “Mathematical modelling of DNA repair” (Aston), “Evolution of maternal effects” (Hoyle), “Mathematics of the sleep-wake cycle” (Skeldon), and “Iron uptake in the human body” (Turner).
