Bin Cheng organised a one day meeting on “Multiscale PDE systems of Fluid Models and Applications in Geophysics” on Friday 31st October at the University of Surrey.  The meeting brought together numerics, analysis and application of multiscale analysis of PDEs with applications in meteorology.  The speakers were Mike Cullen (Met Office), Beatrice Pelloni (Reading), Ian Roulstone (Surrey), Endre Suli (Oxford), Beth Wingate (Exeter), and Bin.
