The paper “Numerical simulations of dynamic coupling between shallow-water sloshing and horizontal vessel motion with baffles“, co-authored by Hamid Alemi Ardakani and Matt Turner has been accepted for publication in Fluids Dynamics Research. In the paper, they investigate shallow water sloshing in a baffled vessel numerically using a geometric integration scheme. In particular the response of the system is investigated when the vessel is attached to a nonlinear Duffing oscillator.
