Anna Kostianko was in Orlando Florida this week (1-5 July) for The 11th AIMS Conference on Dynamical Systems, Differential Equations and Applications.  She gave two talks: “Inertial manifolds for semilinear parabolic equations which do not satisfy the spectral gap condition” in the Student Paper Competition, which was awarded third prize, and “Inertial manifolds for semilinear parabolic equations which do not satisfy the spectral gap condition” in the PDEs and Applications session.
