The paper “Three-scale singular limits of evolutionary PDEs“, co-authored by Bin Cheng, Qiangchang Ju (IAPCM, Beijing), and Steve Schochet (Tel-Aviv), has been published by Archives for Rational Mechanics and Analysis.  It is published open access and can be downloaded here.  In the paper, singular limits of a class of PDEs with two small parameters and hence three time scales are considered. Solutions are shown to exist and remain uniformly bounded for a fixed time as the two parameters tend to zero at different rates.  Under further conditions the solutions of the original system tend to solutions of a limit equation as the parameters tend to zero.
