Dorje Brody appointed Professor of Mathematics

Dorje Brody has been appointed Professor of Mathematics at the University of Surrey with effect from 1st April 2018.  Dorje was formerly Professor of Mathematics at Brunel University.  His research interests include geometry, information theory, quantum foundations, the Riemann hypothesis, and mathematical finance.  He received his PhD from Imperial College, and has held academic positions at Imperial, Cambridge, St Petersburg, and Brunel.  He has published over 120 papers, 2 books, and holds 5 patents.  He speaks fluent Japanese and Chinese.  His scholar google profile is here.
