The Fields, Strings, and Geometry Research group co-organised the “Bicocca-Surrey School on Prospects in Strings, Fields, and Related Topics“, the week of 17-21 September.  It was held at the University of Milano-Bicocca.  Jan Gutowski and Alessandro Torrielli were principal lecturers at the school, and Ian Roulstone was on the organising committee.  PhD students Andrea Fontanella, Lorenzo Raspollini, Roberto Sisca and Joakim Stromwall attended the lectures.
