Josephine Solowiej-Wedderburn passes PhD viva

Congratulations to Josephine Solowiej-Wedderburn for passing her PhD viva on Tuesday 20 July! Josephine’s thesis is entitled “Mathematical modelling of cell-substrate adhesion patterns and their role in mechanosensing“. The External Examiner was Fabian Spill (Birmingham University) and the Internal was Gianne Derks. Her project was supervised by Carina Dunlop. Josephine will now take up an EPSRC supported Postdoctoral position supervised by Carina Dunlop, The image below shows Josephine at the Stem for Britain event earlier this year.
