Congratulations to Timothy Burchell for passing his PhD viva today (Monday 6 December)! Timothy’s thesis is entitled “Nonlinear wave equations, Clifford Analysis, and the stability of solitary waves“. The External Examiner was Dr Frédéric Chardard (University Jean Monnet & Camille Jordan Institute), the Internal was Bin Cheng, and the viva was chaired by Matt Turner.
