Congratulations to Ryan Poole (shown in image left) for passing his PhD confirmation examination! It was held on Tuesday 18th January, and the examiners were Tom Bridges and Dave Lloyd. The title of Ryan’s project is “The effects of compliance on the stability of various flow configurations“. His project is supervised by Matt Turner with second supervisor Bin Cheng.
