Congratulations to Roberto D’Onofrio for passing his PhD Confirmation Examination! It was held today (Monday 4 April), and the examiners were Alessandro Torrielli and Cesare Tronci. The title of Roberto’s project is “Fluid Dynamics and Monge-Ampère Geometry”. Roberto is enrolled on our new dual PhD degree programme with the University of Milano-Bicocca. He is supervised in Italy by Giovanni Ortenzi, while his supervisor at Surrey is Ian Roulstone, with second supervisor Tom Bridges.
