Jessica Furber and Steve Falconer are in Berlin this month (9-17 June) for a Workshop and Summer School on “Mathematics of Complex Social Systems“. At Workshop 3 on “Stochastic modeling of complex social systems” (link here), held 7-8 June, Jessica presented a poster on “Spending energy for a reward: understanding the fine movement of badgers” (see left image below). Jessica and Steve attended the summer school (link here) and the right image below shows them in front of the Zuse Institute in Berlin where the event was held.
