Masanori Hanada speaks at conference held at the University of Stavanger in northern Norway

Masanori Hanada visited the University of Stavanger, on the northern coast of Norway, the first week of August (1-6 August), to attend and speak at the “The XVth Quark confinement and the Hadron spectrum conference“. The aim of the conference was to bring together people working on strong interactions from different approaches, ranging from lattice QCD to perturbative QCD, from models of the QCD vacuum to QCD phenomenology and experiments, from effective theories to physics beyond the Standard Model. Masanori gave a talk on “Meaning of Polyakov loop in QCD: confinement, deconfinement and partial deconfinement“. Abstract and other information about the conference is available (link here).
