Daniel Boutros visits from the University of Cambridge for interaction with research project of Camilla Nobili

Daniel Boutros (homepage here), currently a PhD student of Edriss Titi at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences at Cambridge, is visiting the department this week (w/c 5 December), for research interaction with Camilla Nobilii and her PhD student Johannes Benthaus. Johannes is formerly a Masters student at the Unversity of Hamburg and started his PhD at Surrey in October 2022. Camilla, Daniel, and Johannes are working this week on enhanced dissipation and passive scalar mixing. This image below shows the Navier-Stokes equations which form the backbone of the analysis.
