James Grant attends Workshop on Spacetime Geometry at Schrödinger Institute in Vienna

James Grant is in Vienna for two weeks (13-24 March) to participate in the Workshop on “Non-regular spacetime geometry“. The workshop is being held at the Erwin Schrödinger International Institute for Mathematics and Physics (ESI). The workshop (ESI link here) topics include causality theory, cone and Lorentz-Finsler structures, Alexandrov geometry, length spaces, metric geometry, transport theory, and curvature-dimension conditions, as well as non-commutative geometry. The image below shows one of the majestic blackboards at the institute.
