Roberto D’Onofrio wins PhD student of the year in the School of Maths and Physics

Roberto D’Onofrio was awarded PhD student of the year, for the academic year 2022-3, in the School of Mathematics and Physics. Roberto is a PhD student on the joint PhD programme between Surrey and Milano-Bicocca. His principal supervisor at Surrey is Ian Roulstone, with second supervisor Tom Bridges, and his Milano-Bicocca supervisor is Giovanni Ortenzi. Roberto‘s PhD project is on solutions and singularities of nonlinear partial differential equations. The photo below shows Roberto on the day he was awarded the prize.
